The class of 2009 paid for a project in Senegal to build over 40 pit latrines for the village and surrounding area. The community was responsible for a portion of the cost, the class covered the rest ($1,790.00).

Mr. Leslie’s and Mrs. Hollis’s class recently read to 1st-4th graders at Woodland Meadows. The reader’s theater gave the students a chance to showcase their oral reading skills on Social Studies and Science topics. Heritage students in Mrs. Robke’s/Mrs. Widman’s 5th Grade classes lay down some audio tracks. There are 59 students working on podcasts about the human body systems.
