As part of March-Is-Reading-Month 2009 at Woodland Meadows Elementary three 6th grade classes from Heritage performed Reader’s Theatre in all of the Woodland Meadows 1st-4th grade classrooms. Students from Ms.Devine, Ms. Hollis and Mr.Leslie’s classrooms performed. The students at Woodland Meadows thoroughly enjoyed these performances and it really contributed to our March-Is-Reading-Month activities.

On April 24, 25 & 26, 2009, students from the South & West Washtenaw Consortium attended the annual Skills USA Michigan (formally V.I.C.A.) Technical Skills Competitions hosted in Lansing Michigan. The bell has rung to close the third annual stock club competition at the Heritage Annex. Over the past two months, students from four fifth grade classrooms followed their stock choices.
