This is a great idea! Can it be run through a non-profit so that donations can be tax deductible? Also, the information does not yet appear on the wardfam.org site.
Thanks for your comments. My husband, our family “web master”, was under the weather, but last evening he did manage to get the application on the wardfam.org site.
The Saline Seven DI Team completed a grant proposal and made a presentation on 1/12/10 to the Foundation for Saline Area Schools asking them to co-sponsor the event. If the FSAS is a co-sponsor, donations would be tax deductible. The DI team has also asked the FSAS to help pay for the SMART Board if there’s a shortfall in their fundraising. The FSAS indicated they would make a decision by the end of January.
