The Saline Area Chamber of Commerce Saline Salutes committee has invited the City of Saline Youth Council to organize and promote the eighth annual “Youth of the Year Award”. The Youth of the Year Award recognizes a Saline Area School District resident in grades 7-12 who has made a positive impact in the community in 2009. The Youth of the Year will be honored at the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce’s Saline Salutes awards ceremony on April 16, 2010. School staff and administrators, city officials, employees and commissioners, coaches, clergy, parents, and the general public are encouraged to nominate a young person in grades 7-12, living within the Saline Area School District for this award. Teens are also encouraged to nominate their peers.
Nominees are recognized for their volunteer efforts and should fulfill these requirements.
