Social Networking

I recently read this article from Time magazine on social networking and the impact it’s having on technology. After reading the article I decided to create an account on Facebook. I was amazed. Right away I was able to easily locate friends. To my surprise there were a number of them online on Facebook. I was also able to locate some old friends that I hadn’t talked to in years. It was nice to catch up.

For those of you that read my blog(all 5 of you), do you use Facebook or LinkedIn? I was very impressed with the plethora of applications and functionality of these sites, especially Facebook.

I don’t know what the future holds but I can defintely see the value of social networking. I showed my wife and she must have spent 4 hours on Facebook, she now has twice as many friends as I do.
